Wacky...but true

Wacky ... but true features articles on the unusual from history, archaeology and the natural world, presenting them in a fun and exciting way that will appeal to children approximately 8 - 15 years of age. The style is designed to both entertain as well as educate its young readers. Included with the more serious articles are bizarre news items, fun festivals, weird events and other really wacky things that happen in this world!

Wacky ... but true is produced in the Hunter region, NSW. Now in its fifth year of production the magazine is proving to be a winner in homes and schools across Australia and overseas.

"It is amazing what goes on around us," says editor Michelle Coltheart, "and Wacky ... but true captures the excitement of those events in its pages. It's all just good, clean fun and is a magazine that would be acceptable in both Christian and public schools."

Research has shown that 73% of Australian youngsters prefer reading magazines to any other type of reading, and this magazine is sure to be a winner with its short, pithy items and eye-catching artwork. It is written by an experienced teacher-librarian and is one of the few quality children's magazines published in Australia.
